Plant-A-Thon February 2, 2008 (rain date Feb 9th) 
Join MBCS and Big Sur Land Trust to plant 400+ native plants near Garland Park in Carmel Valley!
MBCS will be partnering with the BSLT to restore native vegetation in Carmel Valley on a piece
of land adjacent to Garland Park. This land is newly acquired by BSLT and is an integral piece
of land to protect the Carmel Riverbed area from development.Participating families will collect
sponsorships to work in teams of three or four to plant native plants, shrubs and saplings at 400
designated sites.
